I’m not quite sure that I truly have any friends I could ask that too, I assume that people see me as cold and uncaring, but well read and easy on the eyes. Lucius tells me I’m pretty, and smart, and I know that he means it.
My mother and Aunt tell me that they are proud, and it makes me sick to my stomach - What do you like best about yourself? My ability to make others think I actually care about them, their life or their petty nonsense.
- What do you like least about yourself? The fact that I can never really be who I want to be without leaving everything I know, the jealousy I have for my sister that seems to mingle in with my hatred of her.

- History: Growing up Narcissa, or Cissy as she was know by a few, was the perfect example of a pureblood child. Quiet and resourceful, she wanted and lacked for nothing. But as she got older she soon realized that not everything was as it seemed. Or rather nothing was as it seemed, she came to realize that a lot of what she had been taught she did not agree with, and knew that she did not want to live life as her sisters had.
She eventually came to an arrangement with Lucius regarding their relationship. They both agreed that they could tolerate each other for quite some time and that eventually it could become amicable relationship, which thus far has proved to function as well as dysfunction can. She can be whom she wants to, whilst using her discretion of course, without any sort of distaste on Lucius part. She still plays the dumb blonde pureblood when necessary.
But not everything is as it seems for anyone, on either of the lines. Since graduating Hogwarts the pressures of family have increased tenfold, after her sister’s betrayal and abandonment by marring a muggle born, and Bellatrix’s constant misdeeds the pressure has been placed on Narcissa to clean up the family name. She tries to distract herself from the going on’s and continues to smile even thought she can feel herself cracking. She realizes that I she didn’t have Lucius in her life, that she would had been lost to the madness that tends to claim the Blacks , with Lucky as her leveling device, as someone who understands her it is much simpler to be herself and to fall into social pressures without any regret.
